Texas Hold'em Games
We are teaching strategy for 3 different Texas Hold'em games in this poker school. You will only have to learn one of them to pass the quiz and get your hands on the free poker money.
Limit Cash Game: This is the easiest game to learn. You can bet, call, check, raise or fold and that's it. The size of the bets are predefined.
No Limit Cash Game: This game is tougher to learn. You can bet any amount from the minimum bet to your entire stack at any single occasion.
Sit N Go Tournament: This game is the toughest to learn. Not only do you have the complex betting range from the minimum bet to your entire stack to deal with, you must also compute the fact that the chips you are betting do not equal the money at stake. Although the Sit N Go is the simplest and most straight forward poker tournament, the strategy is nonetheless the exact same as in a bigger scheduled tournament. If you know how to play a Sit n Go, you know how to play MTTs as well. |
We recommend that you, as a beginner, go for the Limit Cash Game. It provides a sheltered enviroment in which you can learn how to play poker with real money without all the pressure and complexity that comes with the other two games. Learning how to play poker is a step by step process and no good will come from rushing it. Take your time and learn the games in the order of difficulty, beginning with the simplest.
