UniBet Sports – Sportsbook Review
UniBet Summary
UniBet is one of the oldest and most trusted online sportsbooks in the industry, established in 1997 by Unibet Group Plc. The UniBet Sportsbook was superbly developed to offer a secure platform for punters to place wagers on just about every sport known to man. UniBet won the 2006 and 2008 “European Sports-Betting Operator of the Year Award” at the annual eGaming Awards Ceremony.
Licensed in Malta, UniBet Sports actually offers much more than just sports betting. The online gaming company also operates the UniBet Online Poker Room, UniBet Online Casino, and UniBet Games. By signing up a membership with one sector of UniBet, users are granted access to all venues. Deposits are made to a single UniBet Sports account, and can then be transferred to any other venue for additional online gambling resources.
The online Sportsbook is available in more than 100 countries with multi-lingual software in 20 languages. UniBet Sports accepts deposits in 8 major currencies, with enough payment methods available to accommodate everyone.
Note that UniBet Sportsbook does not accept USA deposits at this time.
UniBet Software
UniBet Sportsbook is powered by two software platforms, Monnet and its own privately developed software. The purpose of separate platforms was to provide users of all major operating systems with a convenient, compatible platform in which to place wagers. Windows PC users can use the downloadable software, giving them speedy access to the online Sportsbook from their desktop. The in-house software that runs directly from the UniBet Sports web site is powered by Flash, therefore compatible with Windows PC, Mac and Linux operating systems. Either way, punters will find the UniBet interface to be very user-friendly and easy to navigate.
Aside from the prohibition of US members, UniBet is an International online Sportsbook, offering a host of multi-lingual options.
